Refer to the keymap as to which notes to use. You can create the hits and edit them in the MIDI Editor. So decide which mapping you prefer and commit to it.Īs for hits/articulations outside of what is mapped to your physical kit, you can do a couple things. The notes will rearrange, which means any previously recorded MIDI will be hitting different instruments. There's a submenu for Roland, you can check to see if your kit is there. If you look on the left of this window, you can change the map preset entirely to conform to different systems. Most of the core instruments will be the same across different kits but some have additional/different articulations (e.g., Jazz Brushes have brushed sweep articulations below the kick key). Consult this keymap to see which MIDI keys trigger which hits/articulations. In Addictive Drums there is a keymap if you click the ? and choose "map window".
